Much like the soda fountain, it is an old school part of practicing pharmacy that is too commonly forgotten. Long before the FDA, the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act or Controlled Substance Act, pharmacists could mix up something for you for whatever ailed you based on your symptoms-no prescription required. Fast forward to today and we can work with your doctor to customize your medication so it’s a perfect fit.
