You might be hard-pressed to find better ice cream than Cammie's Old Dutch Homemade Ice Cream. Open since 1969, Cammie’s ice cream has been voted best Ice Cream in Alabama several times. Therefore, we think we have the best milkshakes in Birmingham! Come by and grab a scoop, shake, or hand mixed soda. In addition to ice cream, we have hot and cold coffee everyday and a variety of bottled/canned beverages. And no, we don’t have wifi-talk to your neighbor!

    Have unique health needs? Get unique solutions. We offer non-sterile compounding services for kids, adults, and pets. Ask our pharmacist about our compounding services.

What is compounding?

We get asked this question a lot! Compounding is the art and science of making customized medication for YOU, the individual patient! Much like the soda fountain, it is an old school part of practicing pharmacy that is too commonly forgotten. Long before the FDA, the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act or Controlled Substance Act, pharmacists could mix up something for you for whatever ailed you based on your symptoms-no prescription required. Fast forward to today and we can work with your doctor to customize your medication so it’s a perfect fit.
